The Hapimag Resort Damnoni in southern Crete, part of the Swiss company Hapimag AG with 56 resorts across Europe, is located just a few steps from the beautiful beach with the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea. It offers 199
comfortable apartments, two restaurants featuring Mediterranean cuisine, wellness facilities, and an outdoor pool, all set within a lush green landscape.

We are looking for a talented, responsible, and dedicated Head Bartender to strengthen our Food and Beverage (F&B) department for the 2026 season.

What you can expect

  • Greeting and serving guests, taking orders, preparing beverages, and creating
    a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while ensuring excellent service, effective
    complaint handling, and collecting guest feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Managing cash and maintaining accurate records through POS systems,
    including proper processing of payments and accurate handling of cash and
    credit card transactions.
  • Ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar area, including
    regular washing of glassware and utensils, and full compliance with food and
    beverage, health, and safety regulations.
  • Managing, monitoring, and safely storing bar inventory, placing orders for
    beverages and supplies, replenishing materials, preparing garnishes, and
    keeping displays organized.
  • Supervising, guiding, and training bar staff, preparing schedules, and providing
    ongoing training to improve team skills.
  • Creating and updating the cocktail and beverage menu, developing new drink
    concepts, and ensuring consistent quality in beverage preparation.
  • Overseeing bar financial management, monitoring beverage costs, controlling
    expenses, and contributing to the achievement of financial targets.

What you bring along

  • Excellent knowledge of mixology, beverage recipes, and current bar trends.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work in a fast-paced environment,
    maintaining high performance under pressure, especially during peak periods.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Independent, organized, and clean working style.
  • Familiarity with POS systems.
  • Experience in the hospitality or food and beverage industry and strong attention
    to detail.
  • Good command of English; knowledge of German or Italian will be considered
    an asset.
