We are Hapimag: a sharing community for vacation rentals. We own and operate 56 vacation rentals in various popular destinations across Europe – by the sea, in the mountains and in cities. And why? Because we want to go on vacation in a relaxed and mindful way.

To fulfill our mission, we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic team player!

What you can expect

  • You oversee the architecture, the development and the integration of standard and custom software solutions into the Hapimag realm.
  • You coach other Engineers, fostering good architectural practices and clean code.
  • You interact with other (non-technical) stakeholders in the solution discovery, integration, release and maintenance processes.
  • You oversee the architecture of the Hapimag systems, including the front (user-facing) and the back (core) systems.
  • You play a key role in Hapimag’s digital transformation process!

What you bring along

  • Completed degree (FH, University, ETH) with a focus on computer science or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years experience as a Software Architect.
  • Additional experience as Solution or Enterprise Architect represents a significant advantage.
  • Deep understanding of architecture principles, best practices and integrated systems, especially at an enterprise level.
  • Strong background in software development, especially using backend technologies (Python, Java and their most popular frameworks such as FastAPI, Quarkus etc.).
  • Proven experience in developing and integrating enterprise applications and solutions.
  • Flair for information security and a deep understanding of its importance in software development and integrated systems.
  • Good knowledge of DevOps (Kubernetes), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Pub-Sub technologies (Kafka or similar).
  • Fluent communication (oral/written) in English is a prerequisite, German skills and other foreign languages are of significant advantage.
  • Proactive, collaborative personality with a high sense of responsibility and didactic skills.
