Project Manager Construction 100% (Focus Italy)

Our project managers implement renovations and construction measures with great commitment and use all resources sustainably and carefully. In addition, their work also includes the constant increase in renewable energy sources and the use of innovative ideas and technologies.

To complement our Real Estate & Maintenance department with focus on Italian Resorts  we are looking for a committed and engaged personality with either workplace in our Headquarters/ZG or fully remotely/in homeoffice in Ticino, Italy, South Tyrol or alike

What you can expect

  • Project management and client representation of Hapimag construction projects (renovations, repairs and new constructions)
  • Coordination of architects, planners, specialists and contractors
  • Responsible for project quality, costs and deadlines (execution of project, process optimizations, profitability calculations)
  • Conducting negotiations and concluding contracts with various service providers
  • Support with construction-related issues within the group of companies

What you bring along

  • Completed degree in civil engineering, architecture/building construction or comparable field 
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar function, ideally in the hospitality or holiday/leisure real estate industry or in a global, international company
  • In-depth specialist knowledge in the areas of project management, tendering and awarding of planning and construction services 
  • Practical experience abroad in comparable positions is of advantage and/or valuable network (contacts) within construction business in Italy
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Europe, especially with focus Italy (sometimes several days in a row)
  • Excellent Italian (C1+or native level) and good (B1+) English skills in writing/speaking are required; Conversational communication in German is a big plus and desired
