The Hapimag Resorts Westerland are situated in privileged locations in the capital of the North Sea island of Sylt and offer a total of 96 holiday apartments with both, Urban and Nordic flair.

For our three Hapimag resorts inWesterland on Sylt  we are looking for a new host as of May 2024

What you can expect

  • Operational management of our three facilities in Westerland and daily operations with 96  apartments and up to 7 employees
  • Overall responsibility for the operating result incl. quality control, offer design and sales activities
  • Being a passionate host for our guests and business partners
  • Preparation of the annual budget and monitoring key financial figures
  • Ensuring legal standards with regard to occupational safety and local requirements as well as continuous improvement of workflows and processes
  • Responsibility for and Implementation of the strategic corporate goals as well as measures for the sustainable development of our offerings, based on guest and member feedback and evaluations

What you bring along

  • Completed training in the hotel industry, ideally with additional qualifications in the hospitality / travel business or related studies or specialization in a relevant field
  • First professional experience in a comparable position or as Assistant/Junior GM, Deputy Head of Hotel Operations with at least 150 beds
  • Passion for your profession, our industry and guest management
  • High sense of responsibility and quality awareness combined with excellent organizational and coordination skills to lead and manage the three separate locations in parallel
  • Motivation and endurance for a long(er)-term commitment on Sylt, whereas we foster and support at the same time your advancement in the role and company
  • Knowledge of German at native tongue level and very good English skills; other foreign languages are welcome
  • A strong identification and passion for living and working on the island and at the North Sea in general is big plus
