The Hapimag Resort Westerland is centrally located yet close to the beach on the popular North Sea island of Sylt. Featuring comfortable holiday apartments, the resort offers our guests the perfect starting point for a relaxing island holiday. Our resort is looking for a dedicated individual to join our maintenance team as a Technical for a varied role.

What you can expect

  • “Hands-on” involvement in day-to-day operations: maintenance, repairs, and servicing in the holiday apartments and public areas
  • Maintenance, monitoring, and administration of our digital master lists for facility management
  • Ensuring the safe operation of all technical building systems and coordinating with external service providers
  • Carrying out ad hoc and emergency repairs on call, as well as taking part in the regular on-call rota

What you bring along

  • Training in a trade (e.g., building technology, electrical, plumbing/HVAC, or similar)
  • The role is suitable for highly motivated candidates stepping up from a second-in-command position (the focus is strongly on practical leadership)
  • Strong hands-on mentality and enjoyment of practical work
  • An independent and goal-oriented approach to work
  • Good command of German for communicating within the team and with guests
  • Familiarity with using a computer and standard software programmes
